In my opinion, sketching is the cornerstone of greater design. Never beginning a digital design until I have exhausted all analog (pen & paper) ideas gives me a wider range of possibilities.

If you want to start sketching, begin by never using the excuse “but I can’t draw well,” it’s not about drawing well, it’s about getting your ideas out as quickly as possible visually continuously making your brain work for better concepts. This is most effective for a hand made logo design
